kendra corpier December 2015

Oh Monday. I did not want to get out of bed this morning. So, if any of you know me in person, you’ll know that I smoke. Well, starting last week I was weening myself off of cigarettes. As of yesterday (Sunday) I have not had a cigarette.

It is a weird feeling not smoking. I’m having a hard time focusing and I’ve been getting headaches. But I’m pushing through it. I don’t want to smoke anymore. It’s expensive, and I’d like to have a kid at some point, so smoking would be bad.

Anyways, I had to go to my day job today. We were busy; I had a lot of print graphics to complete today.

After work, I went home and grabbed my gym clothes and went to the gym to get on the elliptical and then I did some arm curls. So, my body is hurting right now.. lol. But that’s a good thing.

Afterwards, I came home and made some chicken and perogies and asparagus. It was delicious.

Then I finally sat down at my computer and started filling out a form to become an XBox developer. I can’t really talk a whole lot about the process, but I’m hoping they will accept my application.

There is a game I basically finished most of the concept art and the entire game document / story and game play, but I was very “green” to programming so I couldn’t finish the game, especially since I wanted this to be a console game. Now I feel comfortable enough with my programming skills that I am ready to start programming the game, especially since Unity will make it a bit easier with creating the games for multi-console, should I choose to make the game multi-console.

Honestly, I’m not too sure which console I’d like to to be on, so I’m just going to submit and see which company offers the best for me to release it on first.

So that’s what I’ve been doing this evening. Going through the process of filling out forms and telling XBox about my game.

Thankfully, I am super organized and write up super detailed game documents for all of my games. Keep your fingers crossed for me to become an XBox dev!

So, I’m going to get back to filling out the forms and stuff. Talk to you all tomorrow!
