Indie Game Development Update – Epicurus Unvorsum

And There Were Some Bugs

So, after releasing Epicurus Unvorsum on the Android devices, a few bugs were found.


One was if you played and scored some points, then paused and exited to the main menu, then started into gameplay again, your previous in game score was still there. That’s totally a bug that people would have taken advantage of… naughty naughty. Well, it’s fixed now.


Another was you couldn’t see your end score once your jet was destroyed. You can now see what your score was in the retry menu.


Lastly, this wasn’t much of a bug, but a few people were saying that with all of the enemy ships as well as the boss, the boss ship was fairly difficult to beat on the first try. So, I adjusted how many times you need to hit it, and it should be a little more likely to be able to be defeated now.


So, that’s it for the Android build. If you see any more issues, please fill out a bug form here and I will get right on it to fix them!

Side Note

As a side note, I am going to be creating an iOS build so that all of you Apple phone users may enjoy the game as well. I just need to get my hands on a Mac computer, so I can build the game and submit to the App Store. Also, I’ll need to get payment ready to become and iOS App developer, so it may be a few weeks before I can submit. Don’t worry, you’ll get your fix soon enough ;P
