Playable Demo WIP

I made my first build today. I needed to get a feel for how it looks while playing. So, the GUI is in place., a points system is in effect, there is a timer, some blocks to hit and some things to collect.

I still need to create a death menu, a level end menu, and make the health and lives function properly. Not to mention, I still need to get the easter egg collectibles to give Aiye an extra Life afer collecting all 8.

I’d also like to make the level a little more aesthetically pleasing. I know it’s an alpha, but people at a convention don’t know the difference between an alpha and a finished build. So, I’ll be adding a few more art assets to the level, as well.

I don’t think I’ll be adding the monsters, just yet. Their art and animations aren’t finished and I don’t think it would be good to show unfinished animations and art for the show.

So, the XBox controller works with it, and Save Me From Myself has its basic mechanics functioning. I’m excited and nervous for the show!
