Playable Demo WIP
I made my first build today. I needed to get a feel for how it looks while playing. So, the GUI is in place., a points system is in effect, there is a timer, some blocks to hit and some things to collect.
So, I got a little bit done tonight. I added some of the collectibles. Collectibles are things that the player will have the option of looking for while playing the levels. They will open various extra levels, mini games to earn things, and a World Store.
Level 1 Layout WIP
So, this weekend, I worked on adding elements to Save Me From Myself World 1 Level 1. I added some basic functions so that the player could get an idea of how the game would function with the mechanics…
Still Some Pipes
So, this will be short and sweet. For Save Me From Myself’s World 1 Level 1, I am still working on laying out my pipes and testing them for collision and whatnot. So, above is a picture. I will definitaely have more update throughout the weekend… I’ve just been having to work overtime at my day job since I am the only person there (not an exaggeration-the new part timer is on vacation).
Sewage Pipes…. Ummm…
Hah, I know, it sounds crazy. But I need sewage pipes for my game. These pipes are how Aiye warps to and from the some of the levels, and she will eventually have a scooter that rides the sewer.
World 1 Level 1
So, World 1 Level 1 is coming along nicely. I feel like I got a lot done this weekend. I’m still a bit nervous about presenting it, but I’m sure everything will be fine and you all will enjoy Save Me From Myself.
