I just thought I’d share with everyone about an E-Book sale! If you’re looking to learn a new skill in game development, pick up some new Unity 2D tutorials or want to give a learning gift to a fellow game developer. Packt Pub is having their annual $5 sale. So, go order that book about that game development skill you’ve been wanting to work on!
This year, I hosted my first game developer booth for a game I started working on a few months ago. I thought it might be nice to share my experience, so when you decide to host a booth, you can have a little insite on what to expect.
Playable Demo WIP
I made my first build today. I needed to get a feel for how it looks while playing. So, the GUI is in place., a points system is in effect, there is a timer, some blocks to hit and some things to collect.
So, I got a little bit done tonight. I added some of the collectibles. Collectibles are things that the player will have the option of looking for while playing the levels. They will open various extra levels, mini games to earn things, and a World Store.
