So, the game jam I’m hosting through the Youngstown Game Developers is almost upon us. I’m excited because this is our second year doing the game jam and everything is running smoothly. But with running a game jam, I have had to put my own game priorities aside, including working on Save Me from Myself.
So, in the meantime, I thought I’d share some excellent Unity 2D tutorials.
This tutorial will show you how to create the classic Tetris game. I used to play this game on my old Game Boy. Love Tetris.
This tutorial is a series and is a little more complex. But I believe in, and Unity’s tutorials are so awesome, that I just know you can handle it. Over the course of this project, you will create procedural tile based levels, implement turn-based movement, add a hunger system, audio and mobile touch controls.
This tutorial is a series of tutorials to teach you how to make a basic 2D game and understand how to use Unity’s user interface.
I hope you enjoy these tutorials. If you have any questions, ask away!
